Twenty three centuries ago, Alexander the Great founded a magnificent city in Egypt on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, Alexandria. The most famous ruler of Alexandria was Cleopatra VII.
Alexandria was considered to be Egypt's most important trading Metropolis.The Great Library and The Seventh Wonder of the Ancient World "The Lighthouse: Pharos" were the glorious landmark of Alexandria. Today most part of the ancient city lies in the Mediterranean Seabed.
